Instant Roof Quote
An instant roof estimate from a street address.
The homeowner types an address and confirms their house. The tool sizes the roof from building outline data, asks for the pitch, and turns it into roofing squares and a price range from your rate sheet.
In pilot with a Gulf Coast roofer. Calibrating against measured past jobs before public launch.
Live demo
Watch it measure a real roof. Then try it yourself.
Aerial imagery, an open building footprint, and the same pitch, overhang and waste factors the pilot tool runs on. Pick a sample home, change the pitch and material, or type your own address.

How this was measured
1. Footprint. The house outline comes from Overture Maps building data, or from corners you tap. Its plan-view area is measured once the outline is closed.
2. Roof area. Footprint × 1.05 for eave overhang × 1.118 for a 6/12, average pitch.
3. Squares. Roof area plus 15% waste for a moderate roof, ÷ 100. The range then applies the rate sheet, pitch and story factors.

The problem
Homeowners want a number before they let a stranger on the roof.
“Call for a quote” loses the night shopper
Most roof research happens after hours. Visitors who can't get a ballpark move on to the next site.
Free inspections eat the schedule
Every ladder trip to a buyer who was only curious is a trip not spent on a signed job.
Phone ballparks are hard to stand behind
A number guessed over the phone with no measurement behind it starts the relationship on shaky ground.
How it works
Address to ballpark in four steps.
- 1
Type the address
The homeowner starts with the thing they know best.
- 2
Confirm the house
The tool finds the building outline. Wrong one? Tap the right building, or enter the size instead.
- 3
Pick the pitch
Plain-English choices from flat to very steep, plus stories and how complex the roof is.
- 4
See squares and a range
Roof size in squares, then a low-to-high range from your own rates, and a request for an inspection.
Features
Built to be careful with your name on it.
Measurement and pricing are deliberately separate, so nothing with a dollar sign goes public until you have signed off on it.
Address-to-roof-size
Sizes the roof from building outline data, adjusted for pitch and overhang.
“That's not my house”
A wrong match is one tap to fix, and any roof can be sized by entering it directly.
Pitch, stories and complexity
Homeowner picks feed waste and steepness factors, and the range widens honestly with uncertainty.
Prices only from your rate sheet
No price appears until you sign the rates. Until then the tool shows measurements only.
Private preview mode
Review the tool on your own site behind a private key before it goes public.
Leads with the measurements
Inspection requests arrive with the roof size and the homeowner's picks attached.
Pilot
Running in pilot with a working roofer.
The tool is installed on a Gulf Coast roofing contractor's website in private preview. Before it goes public we calibrate its factors against the contractor's own measured jobs.
Measurements first
The public version shows roof size only until the contractor signs a rate sheet.
Calibrated, not guessed
Waste, overhang and pitch factors are tuned on real measured roofs before any accuracy claim is made.
A fallback for every house
New builds and missing outlines get a type-the-size path, so no homeowner hits a dead end.
White-label & licensing
Licensed to roofers, under their own brand.
The quote tool runs on your website with your rates and your colors. We calibrate it against your own measured jobs before it shows a price.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask first.
How accurate is the roof size?
It is a ballpark for planning, not a measurement report. We calibrate it against your own measured past jobs before launch and every result is shown as a range, confirmed by an inspection.
What if the tool picks the wrong house?
The homeowner taps the right building, or enters the roof size directly. Nobody gets stuck.
Where do the prices come from?
Only from your signed rate sheet. Until you approve rates, the tool shows measurements and no prices.
Is it available now?
It is in pilot with one roofing contractor. We are taking a small number of additional pilot partners.
How much does it cost?
Pilot partners are onboarded one at a time. Book a call to talk through your market and rates.
Want to be a pilot partner?
We are adding roofers one at a time, each calibrated on their own jobs.
