Pro 1 Painters: leads in week one, not quarter three.

Pro 1 Painters is a residential and commercial painting contractor working out of Mobile and Spanish Fort, Alabama. We rebuilt their website in June 2026. This page is what happened next — measured in customer requests, not vibes.

Where they started

A whole year of the old site: 1,340 clicks.

Under the previous vendor, the old WordPress site averaged Google position 32.8 across 2025 — page four territory — and pulled 1,340 organic clicks for the entire year. That works out to roughly 112 clicks a month for a company covering two counties.

The company itself was fine. The demand was there. The website just wasn't in the room when homeowners went looking for a painter.

What we shipped

The short version of the build.

  • WordPress to Next.js migration, cut over June 7, 2026 — all 75 legacy URLs kept live or 301-redirected, email untouched.
  • 460+ pages: a programmatic city × service architecture spanning Mobile and Baldwin County.
  • An on-device AI Color Visualizer that recolors a homeowner's own photo with real paint picks, right in the browser.
  • A native blog engine with 521 posts publishing on a weekday drip.
  • Two Google Business Profiles (Mobile + Spanish Fort) run through API automation, with field photos coming in over Telegram.
  • Every page auto-submitted to Google, Bing, and Yandex on a daily indexing job.

Days 1–5

Four homeowners asked for estimates before the site was a week old.

In the first five days after cutover, four real customer service requests came through the site's forms — from Fairhope, Theodore, Mobile, and Spanish Fort. Not spam, not tests. People asking to have something painted.

Google moved just as fast. Within those same five days, 121 pages were already drawing impressions, the site had logged 14,900 impressions and 115 clicks, and average position sat at 16.7 — against the old site's full-year 32.8.

Migration hygiene held too: every sitemap URL returned 200, self-canonical, with zero pages noindexed.

Month one · Jun 8 – Jul 5, 2026

One month of the new site did what the old one needed nearly four months to do.

The first full month closed at 426 organic clicks on 66,061 impressions, with average position at 18.7. Set that against the prior vendor's baseline of roughly 112 clicks a month and the new site is pacing well past the old site's entire-year total of 1,340.

Clicks only matter if they turn into customers, so we count those separately and strictly: 8 verified form leads — spam- and test-filtered by reading the actual message content — plus 25 cleaned tap-to-call clicks. All organic. None of it borrowed from paid ads.

Under the hood at the one-month mark: 84 keywords on page 1 of Google, 298 of the sitemap's 464 URLs indexed and climbing, and PageSpeed scores of 86 mobile / 96 desktop.

The client's own numbers

What the owners count on their side of the ledger.

We track what our tooling can verify. The owners track estimates and closed jobs. By their count, June 2026 brought 77 estimates against 60 in the same month the year before.

Of the 8 verified form leads from month one, the client reports 4 closed into jobs, worth an estimated $25–30K in revenue from form leads alone — their figures, from their books.

For scale: the client's own 2025 P&L under the prior vendor showed 135 organic website leads for the full year, closing 31. That's the baseline this site is now being measured against, one month at a time.
